Rep. Ted Yoho Announces New VA Clinic in Clay County

Representative Ted Yoho announced Wednesday morning the award of a lease on a new VA clinic in Middleburg. The new primary care facility will be located at 400 College Drive in Middleburg. Services will include primary care, mental health services, lab draws and select specialty care via telehealth. Once online, the clinic is projected to attract approximately 4,500 new Veterans and serve more than 11,000 Veteran enrollees in the following years. The awarded lease has an initial contract for a 10-year lease. Construction timeline and activation schedules will be determined in post award design meetings that Congressman Yoho will take part in.

Challenger Center Receives Road Paving Funds

Last week, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity announced the recipients of $16 million in grants with Clay County receiving $2,065,000 for the construction of Atlantis Drive, a road that will connect newly-opened State Road 23 to Challenger Center, a mixed-use property that can’t be developed until there’s a road to the property.
