Clay County Economic Development Corporation was pleased to host the 2025 Clay County Workforce Summit on April 30, 2025.
Clay County leaders gathered for an informative and interactive conversation about future workforce development needs and solutions.
Presenters included: Lindsey Navin, President, and Jacki Hale, Sales and Marketing Specialists, for The Blue Collar Recruiter and Virtual Trade School, Brian Knight, CEO of Pragmatic Works, Dr. Anna Lebesch, SVP Strategy and Talent Development for JAXUSA Partnership; David Broskie, Superintendent of Schools for Clay County District Schools; Katie Vineyard, CEO of Challenge Enterprises; Carolyn Krall, President and CEO of Clay Education Foundation; Cheryl Taylor, President/CEO of CareerSource NE Florida; Brad Bishop, Adult Continuing Education Coordinator of Workforce Development for Clay County District Schools; Russ Berger, Director of Corporate and Community Education at St. Johns River State College; and Christina Thomas, Apprenticeship Program - Director of Workforce Development for Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA).
The fireside chat was hosted by Kelly Mosley, Supervisor of Community and Business Partnerships for Clay County District Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE), and panelists were Michael Rathjen, Vice President of School Programs for VyStar Credit Union and Chair of Clay Education Foundation; Kimberly Richardson, Chief Human Resources Officer for Clay County Utility Authority; and Zach Moore, Operations Manager of Garber Automall.
