Join us as we hear from Nicole S. Stokes, Corporate Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, of Ameris Bank and Ameris Bancorp.

Nicole has served in this role since January 2018, having previously been named CFO of Ameris Bank in June 2016. Stokes joined Ameris Bank in December 2010 as Controller and has played a key leadership role in the organization’s financial strategy and growth. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she holds a degree from Auburn University and is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to joining Ameris, Stokes served as Chief Financial Officer of PAB Bankshares and Park Avenue Bank in Valdosta, Georgia, Controller of The Bank in Birmingham, Alabama, and Senior Auditor at Synovus Financial Corporation in Columbus, Georgia. Under her financial leadership, Ameris has successfully executed multiple strategic acquisitions, significantly expanding the bank’s asset base, geographic footprint, and operational capabilities while maintaining strong financial discipline.
